Connie’s Place – A Local Sedona Inn

Connie’s Place features two spacious, well-equipped units that offers guests the comforts of home.

Connie’s Place is a family friendly, and of course, pet friendly, two-unit duplex. It is located in the heart of the Sedona, close to everything. Being pet friendly, it features a large, fenced yard ideal for furry companions. It has been designed in a delightful mid-century modern style. The owners, Steve and Connie Segner, above all, their mission is to evoke a sense of peace and calmness for all their guests, two- and four-legged alike. Each unit is stocked with poop bags, doggie dishes, and blankets for beds, etc.

Connies’s Place is not part of El Portal Sedona Hotel but it is our recommendation if El Portal is full.

“We actually want all our guests to have an exceptional non-hotel stay where they can meet other guests and locals for a true Sedona experience,” says Steve.

The Pet Friendly Inn

The one-bedroom unit at Connie’s Place features a spacious living area, a comfortable full bath, and a refrigerator and microwave. It sleeps up to four people; with a king bedroom for two and a comfortable queen fold-out sofa bed that sleeps two in the living area.

The two-bedroom unit sleeps four with a king bed in each bedroom, a lovely bath (shower only), and a refrigerator and microwave. The large, fenced backyard has a grill and is shared between the two units.

Guests will have access to a full gym, two swimming pools, and basic spa privileges at Los Abrigados, just a five-minute walk away.

Location, Location, Location

From the March 19th, 2019 Washington Post:

How can you tell if a hotel is pet-friendly? Consider the El Portal Sedona Hotel in Sedona, Ariz. It doesn’t charge a pet fee or cleaning charge unless Rover decides to go on a rampage. The hotel is designed for pets, with wood-and-tile flooring throughout, so cleaning is easy.

“Guests are given a pet welcome basket with a blanket to put on the bed, sofa, chair to protect it from shedding,” co-owner Steve Segner says. “There are treats and poop baggies in it as well. We want guests to bring their pets on vacation with them.”

Connie’s Place continues in this fine tradition.
